Emma is
currently a PhD candidate in Research through the University of Sydney and is
passionate about seeking to integrate research into clinical practice to ensure
up to date and patient centred care.
Emma Charters
graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science: Speech Pathology in 2008 from the
University of Sydney and has spent the past ten years working in tertiary
referral hospitals in Sydney. She has specialized in communication and
swallowing disorders in adults in acute, rehabilitation and community settings.
Her areas of interest include head and neck cancer, neurogenic dysphagia and
voice disorders. She has certified in LSVT and myofascial release.
Susan Coulson
Phd M AppSc B AppSc Physiotherapist
Susan is a physiotherapist with a special interest in facial nerve disorders. She is a lecturer at the University of Sydney, School of Physiotherapy and has published widely on her research into facial rehabilitation. She is regarded as being a world authority in the field of rehabilitation after facial nerve paralysis and consults in our rooms on a once fortnightly basis.
