Dr Tsu-Hui (Hubert) Low MBBS (Hons) BSc Med (Hons) FRACS
Dr Tsu-Hui (Hubert) Low is a specialist Otolaryngology Head and Neck (ENT) Surgeon. He completed his ENT training in 2013 and subsequently undertook further post-fellowship training at Royal Perth Hospital, WA (in Head and Neck Oncology/ Sleep Surgery), Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan (Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgery) and Victoria Hospital, London Ontario, Canada (Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery/ Transoral Robotic Surgery) where he spent a year.
In addition to general ENT conditions, Hubert has a major interest in:
- Head and Neck Oncology/ Reconstruction
- Thyroid/ Parathyroid conditions
- Nose/ Sinus conditions
- Sleep apnoea surgery
Hubert currently works at Macquarie University Hospital, Hunters Hill Private Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital and the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. He is an active member of the Head and Neck Multidisciplinary team and Facial Nerve Disorder Clinic at the Lifehouse.
Hubert has research publications in high impact international surgical journals and regularly presents at conferences. He has ongoing active research interests in head and neck oncology and facial nerve rehabilitation. He currently manages the head and neck oncology database at the Lifehouse and is actively involved in research projects at both the Lifehouse/ University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales. He is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney.
Dr Low speaks fluent Mandarin, Hokkien dialects and Malay. Outside medicine, Hubert's interests lie in gardening, music making and painting. He obtained his L.T.C.L (Trinity College, UK) in piano performance and is a member of the violin section for the Australian Doctor's Orchestra.
Dr Low's particular interests include general ENT conditions, Head and Neck Surgery, Thyroid/ Parathyroid pathologies, Rhinology and sleep apnoea surgery.
